She seems to think of this as a bad thing rather than a good thing, which is fine by me. I don't know her personal circumstances (other than she is single and her mother is an advocate for Christian values as well as the worst ever candidate for US VP), so this might well be very bad news for her.
What I found interesting though is that she wanted her blog audience "to be the first to know". I would have thought that anonymous people on the internet should come a long way below family, friends, the father...

I just love the way some people claim not to be interested in something - in fact are so uninterested that they take time to post on the thread they are not interested in.

I think people have started to treat social media like they are facing a private conversation with their closest friends. It happens when people die as well - the first thing people do is announce how devastated they are on Twitter. It's like their cyber lives are more real and more important than their real ones.

Something akin to those who take the time, over years, to post about something they don't believe!!
