Short 10 minute programme that was just on the radio, about 22 Inuit children sent from Greenland to Denmark for 6 months as an experiment in the 1951.

Part of the relentless progress of civilisation ...  ?

I read a journo piece on that somewhere, U. Utterly heartbreaking.  :'(
