Title: YouTube
Post by: Rhiannon on November 06, 2015, 05:04:59 PM
Anyone else finding that when they google a YouTube clip there's no longer a URL to link to? Might be because I use handheld 95%of the time and they want to direct me to the app but it's so annoying as I can't link to music on there any more.

Try googling YouTube first and going to sight and then search.

No, everything's coming up youtube.com/watch. That just leads to a feedback page.

I think somehow your mobile is going to the main site. It sounds like a setting issue but not knowing your mobile or it's set up, I would struggle how to sort. Suggest you do a search on Google with the problem putting in your mobile manufacturer, and if that doesn't work your service provider and see if you can find anything.

Try a different search engine?

Ah. That sort of worked - I got a longer URL including the 'watch' bit.

There is an IE setting that should be set to mobile but sounds like it is set to Desktop. I think the Google change has affected that.

That's irritating. I think it's affected my iPad too.
