On February 13, Humanist comedians will be staging a comic event
to raise money in aid of the British Humanist Association. It is called Standup for Darwin.
Apparently Robin Ince, Shappi Khorsandi, Sara Pascoe, Jay Foreman, Dan & Bethan, Exist Theatre: Jesus Camp, Kate Smurthwaite, Rumit Somaiya will plead inability to go on stage because they ''feel a little funny'' but their management will tell them to ''get on stage before it wears off''.

That's the thing about Vlad - he doesn't so much tell jokes as refresh your memory.

Dear Vlad,
What the frack!! :o :o
Special guest stars, The London Humanist Choir :o :o these humanist types are becoming more religious than I am.

Not bad but I think they might need new script writers, Shaker, Blue, Jeremyp, Outrider, Seb Toe, old Tom cobbley and all, get down there and write them some new material.
What next The Atheist Evangelical choir, sorry BHA but from where I am sitting it all seems a bit cringe worthy.
Gonnagle.

I guess if both you and Thrud laugh at the above, then that's all that counts? ::)

Sorry but I was unaware that all choirs have to be Christian.

I might have some interest in this event if it was to raise money for improvements to the Down House site for it to be finally given World Heritage status (I would make a contribution, I would not actually go along and cringe my way through attempted "Humour").
But it will not.
