I couldn't, or didn't, watch the video clips because I can't get sound on this computer Rhiannon but what I read was quite funny.  I can just imagine J Depp making that apology  :D.  They were lucky to get away with a fine, it was arrogant of them to ignore the law and take their pets to Australia.  I'm glad the dogs weren't put down though.

Yeah, even Australians seem to have realised that whilse they can get away with treating refugees as an inferior species the rest of the world would draw the line at two fluffy dogs being put down.

I didn't think of that when first reading the topic Rhiannon but, yes, Australia's treatment of refugees/asylum seekers is unbelievably harsh.  Not such a ''wonderful island''.

Wonderful Island my eye.

I've been there. Desert, lots of it. Flies lots of them. Heat too much of it (this from someone who can sit on a beach all day on the Costas). Miles of nothing to drive through to get to more nothing. And to top it off its full of Brits driving from airconditioned house in an airconditioned car to an airconditioned workplace, making them per head, the most polluting nation on Earth.

Add to this poisonous spiders that drop onto you whilst you are in the shower. Keep it. Johnny Depp is clearly deluded in more ways than one.
