He died last year, didn't he?
-
Did he? It was in the top ten trending stories on the BBC last night.
-
He died just over a week ago I think. He had liver cancer, was operated on about two years ago, shortly afterwards he went back on tour. A real trouper of the old school. Wonderful singer and song writer.
I wonder who will be next? It's not been a good year so far. Makes us very conscious of our own mortality.
-
As already noted, it's a year since he died. The BBC top ten stories quite often gets a 'ghost' story from the past if it is linked to from a new one, which I suspect was the case here.

Aye you're right, when I read the article last night I only saw April 14th, not the 2015. Just found this:

D'oh!

Was listening to Jeremy Vine 'advertising' his programme on Ken Bruce's programme this morning and it seems that more people who have influenced music and art have died so far this year than any other previously (this confirmed by the BBC's obituary department).
