Title: The five minute revolution
Post by: Walt Zingmatilder on July 02, 2016, 10:37:26 AM
The referendum was when the masses roared for change. This was the signal for the disaffected and unheard to march against europe,,the government, the political class, low pay, zero hour contracts, youth unemploy...er,hang on it wasn't because all the 'revolutionaries' were prepared to do was to go for a walk and walk home again............are warnings of insurrection if Brexit is not honoured credible?......because as we know the people can hardly'' be arsed.''

Make it 4 minutes and you're on!

What could happen is that at the next GE, after this failure to implement the referendum result, they could vote in a party who promised to get them fully out of the EU.

Surely you are here taking the Leave vote for homogeneous which it clearly wasn't - see jakswan here.

And now Robin Hood is involved.

A real model of humanitarian concern for the downtrodden, honest, hardworking immigrants against those selfish lower-middle class Brexiters. Our great national folk hero is hiding them in Sherwood Forest ...

... or is he?

More Brexit xenophobic paranoia.

Why did you remove the 'could' out of my post?

The Remainers were and are such disingenuous gits.

Not all but most.

Jack, how many Remainers have come out and stated that the promises and/or claims they made during the campaign were 'mistakes'?

You raised a possibility and I pointed out that it was incorrect, provided an example of why and even posed it as a question. I understand that you are emotional about this so I am sure the misrepresentation you made of my post was just you being distracted by that emotion and not at all deliberate. Calm down, dear chap!

How is that answer to the fact that you changed my post to mean something else?

no, I did not. Once again I will put your incorrectness down to your emotions rather than deliberate lying. You really do need to calm down.

it points out that I clearly did not do any such thing. If you want to try and gave a discussion, try and engage with what is written rather than repeat incorrect statements.

Look at my #1 and my #1 in your reply in #2. They are not the same.

Ah, now I see what you mean. No idea how that happened. I read the first 'coukd' and thought you were being metaphorical rather than literal. Sorry that it happened but no intent to do so.
