Great to see England's women cricketeers pretty well surpassing the exploits of their male counterparts, especially the short-form formats. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/36699204 Could cricket become a far more popular sport in view of the succes the teams are having?

Best thing I ever saw in relation to women's cricket was some smart-arse interviewer for some Aussie TV station who asked the great Rachael Heyhoe-Flint (Baroness Heyhoe-Flint) what women cricketers wore instead of a box and ran for cover with a very red face when she answered "What do you think we wear, a man-hole cover, of course!"

What makes sports popular is having the chance to watch them. Half an hour of highlights mixed with half an hour of adverts on channel5 once in a while is next to useless.

So buy a ticket and go to the match!
