I got the first couple right, but from then on it was downhill.

Thanks for this Hope. I'm in SW France at the moment and I suppose I should be aware of these signs.
I got two wrong - but since I am not in Turkey or Germany I suppose I should be relieved. As an exercise it is interesting but how many motorists from Britain will be going to Turkey or Ukraine? I ask this because it says that motorists at Newhaven were shown these signs.
There is one sign - found all over France - which too many British drivers identify incorrectly. Failing to understand it could cost them their lives, their health or their no-claims discount:
It is a triangular sign with a red cross (X) on a white background. Many people think that it means "cross roads" and assume that since they are on a major road they can just continue.
Wrong.
It means "give way to vehicles on your right".

I got two wrong but if I knew the Turkish for bus, I would have got that, also the 10 metre thing was a 50/50 and I guessed the German one.
The third one, you should have got. It was identical to the British equivalent.
