Title: Thanks for contacts

I have had a number of you contact me by various means recently asking whether I'm OK.  I was very busy in my job at the local council until early September, and then my wife and I 'escaped' to the Lake District for a week - getting home earlier today.

I am well, though I got rather wet on a couple of occasions when we went walking in what was forecast to be bright sunshine but turned out to be 'mizzly' wet stuff all day.

However, thanks for the concern - which again shows that this place is a real community, and folk keep their eyes open for folk dropping off the system.

Hey, you're back!  Just saw your post over on the Christian topic.  I was wondering where you were only yesterday but remembered you said you were hoping to get away later on in the season.  Did you have a good time, despite getting wet?

Glad you're well though I wasn't one of those who thought you might not be, I guessed you were holidaying.
