Jeremy Corbyn's supporters, or some of them, have written poems especially for him which have been compiled and published (Poems for Jeremy Corbyn edited by Merryn Williams). SteveH mentioned the book on the games thread on St Thad's; I was intrigued. On looking it up, I find the book has been well reviewed and there are a couple of extracts which are quite amusing.

Buy one quickly if you want one; the print run was only 250, i think.
-
Bugger, I want three: one for me, one for son and one for friend (Christmas).
I'll get onto it now.

I've ordered them from Amazon.
-
TBH I prefer Ode to Autumn.

Dear Brownie,
A poem for Corbyn,
IF you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
Then you will be politician my son.
Gonnagle.
