Not that unusual - I believe that Islamic media arely, if ever, show pictures of women.  It is one way in which the 2 predominantly Abrahamic faiths differ markedly from the so-called third. ;)

I think you'll find that mitochondrial research is pointing in the direction that mankind has more than likely been spawn  from Eve's rib, rather than Adam's, metaphorically speaking of course.

I thought we, m/f, were equal partners in this world, well we should be.

Have we ever been, ippy?  After all, most infant and primary staff are women, women have long run the lives of the powerful, they have tended to do all the background work and from my experience of Council work, are the beating heart of Council activity.   ;)
