NS, please give it a rest with your obsession with psychology and philosophy. I for one am finding it a bit tedious now.

Maybe that's two more subjects that should be dropped then, eh?

You don't have to read things if you don't want to. I suspect if we were only allowed to post what no one found tedious on this forum, then it would be an entirely empty forum.

Walter, read other threads if you are finding it boring.

I enjoy all threads about philosophy and psychology and would have thought they (along with - ahem - theology and comparative religion), were an integral part of a religion and ethics forum.

Can you think of any others, Walter?  It would be good to know what people think of subjects studied in higher education.

I remember many years ago one or two people scoffing at Peace Studies, then offered at the Uni of Bradford, yet it is a varied and deep discipline for which potential students were hand picked.  I doubt those people would scoff at it now but subjects go in and out of vogue.

I know the feeling but, at the end of the day, what you think is irrelevant.

If that is the case, why are we all here?

What we think and feel is very important, even if they seem irrational to others at times.
