It is always nice when celebrities like this pair visit and help sick kids.

Well done them.

I still get a bit upset when people refer to poofball as "sport" though. It is better described as the video interface for the gaming industry, an entertainment or simply a money making scheme. It also has something of a record with HMRC.

Kids kicking a ball around in the park is sport, professional football is something entirely different.

Defoe knows this little lad is going to die and he's setting himself up for a lot of heartache. It's a very selfless thing to do.
