I appreciate that there are far worse crimes in this world, but is this really the sort of thing that the (admittedly British Transport) Police should be joking about?
https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2017/feb/27/fight-on-uk-train-after-people-kept-placing-bagels-on-travellers-heads
Police were called to break up a fight on a train as rowdy passengers repeatedly placed bagels on other travellers’ heads.
...
British Transport police tweeted: “Let’s be clear, no bagel should be treated so cruelly. And no one subjected to intimidating behaviour. Ever need us text 61016.”..."and we'll see if we can take the piss out of you being intimidated as well.", they added.

It may not be a serious crime but no-one deserves to be intimidated on a train or anywhere else. Though nothing surprises me about the police force I do wonder what this force is doing posting trivia on twitter. They're not kids and have really shown themselves up as mindless idiots.

I actually read this as a serious message done humorously. It reminds me of those adverts that say you wouldn't treat your xxxx so badly, so why do it to your yyyy.
And I say that as someone who finds bullying of any kind extremely upsetting.
