Title: The police, the wanted man, and the wardrobe

This is the second story recently where police reporting on social media seems somewhat more flippant in tone than might be regarded as acceptable. (And yes, I am conscious that the subject title does something similar, but then I am not the police, though maybe that shouldn't make a difference)

I thought there was a minimum standard of English required for the police?
