Oh....I thought this was about Robinson, the new person who has joined this board....who seems a mature, well traveled and civil person. He is inclined towards spirituality and religion but still quite balanced too.

Quite a change from some of the others, I must say.

If it was about Robinson it would be effectively against the rules. Just to note Robinson is female

Oh...!!  Ok.....I didn't know that. She somehow sounds (reads) male though.

Funny...I believe she thinks I am female.....  :D

When I came back today i looked through threads and found this, thought I'd become famous.
Glad its not about me. Interesting poem.

Sririam you thought I was a brother! I thought you were a sister! Thank you for comments, not sure I deserve them but I like them. You may call me Robbie.

:D  Nice to have you here Robbie. There are few other ladies like SweetPea, Brownie (been missing for some time), Gabrielle ....who I find very reasonable and mature posters with clear views.

Btw....I am male, 63, Hindu living in South India.

Cheers.

Ha..Ha! Well no. I have my wife of 35 years and two grown children.  :D  I am nearly retired now and spend my time doing Yoga, meditations and reading.

Robinson (may I call you that?)

You are right the post was not about you. BUT seeing your name here made me remember this poem. As a mature student I studied literature at B'ham University. I was asked to write an essay about Weldon Kees (who wrote it) and this unfathomable poem has stuck in my mind ever since, so I thought I would share it.

It is interesting though that the poem only appeared when you weren't here... Ha Ha.

Did Kees commit suicide? or just leave it all behind as the poem implies. Look him up on Google interesting.

Best wishes to you anyway Robinson..... No personal comment in anyway intended. JOHN.
