Indeed, Nearly. I remember going to see a performance of 'The Quare Fellow' and I found it a powerful and hard hitting exposition of prison life, a sort of dark rendition of 'Porridge'.

think it is a thousand rather than a dozen. But one of his many including 'Alcohol is man's worst enemy, but the bible tells you to love your enemy'
