While I have an intense dislike of Galloway, it does highlight the state of the Labour party in Gorton and elsewhere.

I agree the Labour Party is a MESS. Galloway is not a nice guy at all! >:(

He's now a caricature of himself. Sad, really - he was once a visionary and a very well respected, if maverick, Scots Labour MP - but that was now far in the past.

I am very tempted to rejoin the Lib Dems. The Labour Party seems to be on the verge of a Bennite takeover, which would mean decades of the righteous talking to themselves in opposition.
