That Ofsted are even considering this is indication that it is time expired.

Vlad
Why can't you get the spelling of words in the title correct?!! This one says ousted, not Ofsted.

Ofsted obviously never visited Vlad's school whilst he was there, hopefully the English department has improved since then! ;)

Sorry, I don't see how the one follows from the other. Surely Ofsted needs to assess all means of making it easier to do their job.

Maybe it was a simple typo, because of thinking that OFSTED need to be ousted, lol
-
But there was an even more grievous grammatical error -
"OFSTED" is singular not plural. It should have read OFSTED is a luxury ...

Yes and maybe the Police could cut costs by watching old episodes of the Saint which would tell them that the villains are always foreign types in white suits and Fezes.

I'm sorry but because of the volume of my output things slip. I find when posting I have to cope with the mob of antitheists. There is a movie in progress about what I do......Fast and Furious 10.

Yes you are of course correct I see that now.
It is noticeable that your spelling slips as does your grammar and your logic as well as your ability to string a sensible sentence together, oh and least but not last maybe your 'humorous' anecdotes don't quite hit the mark that you intended.

No, as a former school governor I think this is a good idea. It needs to be done properly - looking for a trend over time rather than one or two disgruntled parents kicking up a fuss - but it is a good way of getting behind the facade of a 'good' school that is actually failing pupils.

As a former school governor I don't. Ofsted is part of the problem and needs to go.
The deficit model....that schools are forever on the brink of failure and that the person at the front of the class is a threat to education that only a group of strangers who don't appear to be teaching can protect the public from is part of the problem.

Yeah, the system is shit. That doesn't mean that schools don't need inspecting and monitoring, but the criteria by which schools are judged are too subjective, not focussed on best outcomes for the children and are easy to manipulate either by schools or inspectors.
When I was a kid I rocked up at senior school on a different side of town to where my primary school was only to find I was the only one in the class who had been taught where to put a full stop. I spent two years kicking my heels while everyone else was taught the basics. That situation had to end. But what replaced it is disgusting. It's not jus the Tories either, Labour under Blair and Brown loved things it could measure, qualify and manipulate to show how well it was doing.

Yes, Blunkett had the chance to deal with Woodhead but he was an axgrinder himself who thought that special education was merely a conspiracy against the physically disabled and that mainstream education was too and therefore encouraged the one size fits all nature of inspections and ultimately led to the narrowness of vision of Gove.
