I have a couple of penfriends in Russia, I have sent them both an email asking if they know any more than we do.

Chickens coming home to roost.

Chickens coming home to roost.
What does that mean?
It is a tragic situation, just as it would be in any country in the world.

Jack.
Russians are people too.

No one should relish the deaths of Russian people, as JK appears to doing, just because their regime is ghastly!

I don't understand that comment Jack.
The St Petersburg explosions and resultant casualties were appalling. It's no different to happenings elsewhere, people are people and these were ordinary people going about their daily business.

It is the innocents that suffer in these situations; the terrorists can't get near the top brass of any regime with whom they have issues.

You're quite right about recent times (during the iRA attacks they managed to get some more prominent people).
Has it been confirmed that the St Petersburg explosion was a terrorist attack? I haven't heard any news so far today.
Later: Watching news now, yes it does look as though it was terrorists responsible.
