I thought having Sadiq Khan as mayor showed that London is looking forward to the future instead of back to the 50's (or even the 1600's) like most of the rest of this benighted country.

London will not fail and Sadiq Khan is a good man, yet to prove himself as mayor but, yes, his appointment does indicate looking forward. It is an American article!

indeed it is, but it doesn't suggest that Sadiq Khan is a problem.

Well, if failure is having a culture in which your top democratically elected politician can be a far left socialist, a public school toff or a London born Muslim of Asian descent, give me some of that failure.
