Would  footballers in Italy players be right to strike?

Yes. As Crooks says, this is about the welfare of players.

You would hope that something could happen . Whether a strike would work, not sure. But perhaps the players union should issue a statement that any racism and the teams walk off? Or the league removes points?

Sensible but I  suspect this may become an ongoing issue.
