Title: Terry Jones Series "Barbarians"

Does anyone have, or know of someone who has, a good condition DVD copy of Terry Jones' programme'series 'Barbarians' (BBC/History Channel, I think) that they would be willing to part with for £15 - £25, please.

The only DVD's I have been able to find for sale are wirthr the wrong series, also called 'Barbarians' or at three figure prices (beyond my pension) from the U S!

WELL It arrived this morning. I don't think it's the right one though.
It says it's a History Channel production.

If it is the Terry Jones one I think that it was a joint venture with the History Channel and either BBC 2 or Channel 4 - if it is the one I referred to it will have Terry Jones face on the cover.

If it is not then thanks for trying and I will, of course, reimburse you for any outlay it has cost you.

Unfortunately most of the videos have been blocked on 'copyright' grounds by the BBC!

Ooh that's annoying when they do that with something that they haven't got available on DVD.

This is one of the best pieces of religious broadcasting I've seen. Never repeated, never on DVD as far as I know.

I only have two programmes that I watch on iPlayer - Qi and University Challenge - and the Beeb have done the same thing to them!
