Interesting and rather lovely article about why wolves don't domesticate.

What a good article - but in a way stating the obvious: wolves don't domesticate easily (or fully) because they're the original package, whereas dogs have had 15,000 years (some estimates are longer) to be, in effect, watered-down wolves.
Homeopathically so in the case of mine ::)
