I never see much about Clarkson these days. Have we seen his greatest work.
-
I think he is ghastly man; if he ceases to be as far as his work for the media is concerned that would be all to the good.

Millions of people find him to be an entertaining screen presence. Why should your view prevail over theirs?

Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

Yes - we live in a nation where large numbers of people find Michael McIntyre amusing, apparently.

Indeed.
On the other kettle of fish, at least McIntyre is only crap (seems a decent enough chap otherwise), rather than crap and an arrogant violent bully with his gut hanging over his dad jeans as well.

Clarkson can't , his belly's hanging over it !

He's doing Top Gear on Amazon Prime. Also writes a newspaper column which I've read at someone else's house occasionally.

What greatest work?
He was the presenter of one of the BBC's most popular TV programmes for many years. It would be pretty churlish to suggest that Top Gear was not good television, even with some great moments in it. And his piece advocating Brunel as the "Greatest Briton" was a brilliantly crafted piece of propaganda.
