I bet that would have pricked your conscience a bit though if you'd been there then

I think Manchester too was involved . might not have been that though ?

Some coverage of Manchester and Liverpool in the civil war. Any port on the west was intimately involved. I live in an area of Glasgow named effectively for tobacco and slaves.
