Post by: Nearly Sane on November 28, 2017, 06:38:35 PM
Despite having walked past this and loved it for many years, never been inside till this evening. It's been updated but some fabulous original ironwork including the external parts of the lift.

I know that: my late mother-in-law worked as a secretary just opposite.

Does it contain a pub (he says, hopefully)?

It's a James Salmon building. I've posted about the tragic Lion Chambers of his before, and they are just round the corner (for just now).
