Aged 79 & one of India's greatest stars, Shashi Kapoor passed away yesterday, sunday the 5th Nov.

I went to see Shakespeare Wallah followed by a Q&A with Felicity Kendal 37 years ago at the Glasgow Film Theatre. She spoke very warmly of her brother-in-law.

Yeah...Shashi Kapoor. May he go to better worlds.
He was a star in the sixties, seventies and eighties. He was fairly handsome and had a certain sophistication and style. I have seen many of his films.
He was Raj Kapoors's brother.
He also acted in some English movies directed by James Ivory. He was a part of the Shakespeare group of Geoffrey Kendal, who was his father in law.

I saw the announcement yesterday, he was a great actor, cultured and handsome.
