Only another twenty eight days of January to go ......

We survived Storm Eleanor without any damage in our neighbourhood, in spite of the strong winds. :)
The wind has dropped, but it has now turned much colder, it wouldn't surprise me if we see more of the white stuff in the coming days.

It was very windy the night before last, the windows in the bedroom were rattling for hours. Yesterday was very cold indeed.
Not been a bad day today weather-wise.

That storm Eleanor, I've got quite a few years under my belt now but I have to admit I've never before that storm heard rain beating so fiercely against any window, it was so loud that it drowned out any sound the radio was making, it was as though one of those pressure washers was spraying every square inch of the window all at the same time.

Although very windy, we didn't have too much rain. It is much colder today according to the outside thermometers, but it feels warmer as it is very sunny and there is no wind.

Hasn't been too bad here today either despite dire weather warnings on last night's news.
Maybe it is saving itself for tomorrow.
