I only heard of Mr Varadkar recently,and thought it didn't sound like an Irish name.

Well yes, there are gay people of Indian decent who lead Catholic countries all over the place. Gets a bit boring really.

I'm applying the jeremyp rule of social media. Any news story based purely on tweets is a news story in the same way as "something some bloke said in a pub" is a news story.
