Ah, but what about if the marshmallow is in the form of an offering to Pele?  Wouldn't she protect the supplicant?

Reminds me of a wonderful quote from the late great Sir Terry Pratchett ( taken from the book "Thief of Time" ).

Considering that the reasons given for not doing it were not the reasons I was expecting, it was not necessarily a stupid question.

That's what I thought. it was a hypotheticackle question about toxicity.

Agreed. There’s nothing to suggest that the questioner was actually contemplating such a thing, and the answer told me something I didn’t know before.
