My daughter had an Accessorise knock off of her cassette bag. Genius.
-
Never heard of her.

Never heard of her.
She wasn't aware of you either. Nor was Shakespeare, Einstein nor Ernie Wise. So did you have a point? Because I've seen a lot on social media thinking about how she was a major influence? But did you just need offer some pointless sarcasm? Glass houses, mebbe?
-
Sarcasm? What sarcasm? I just mentioned that I'd never heard of her. I leave sarcasm to the azure-sloped ex-workers and slightly mad of this world in general.

I'm not sure what azure sloped means? I've just done a quick goggle and it seems to refer mainly to LEGO. Or possibly something to do with linear regression.
I liked it as a phrase and thought I might use it elsewhere, it looks like I can't now. Unless I take up playing with toy building blocks in my dotage. :(

Azure sloped ex-worker = bluehillside rtd. Geddit?

Yes, you are right, you weren't being sarcastic. I just find the habit people have of commenting that they have never heard of someone who has died tedious. I thoroughly recommend sarcasm though, best way to get through the day along with a good martini at appropriate intervals.

Sounds like a plan.

Look if I want crossword clues I'll go to that thread. >:(
-
When I first saw the thread title early this morning I thought, "Don't think I've heard of her", glad I didn't say anything ;D.
I've since read about Kate Spade and it is a very sad story, poor woman. Feel sorry for her daughter - for whom she left a note.
Steven H, the slanting azure ex-worker's retirement didn't last long, he might remove the Rtd from his nickname.
-
I think she probably wasn’t so well known over here because her kind of immaculately groomed look is always more popular stateside.
-
And there are just so many more shops there. There's no reason for SteveH to have heard of her. I just get bored when people say they hadn't heard of someone,
-
I know what you mean, it seems somewhat disrespectful unless followed by a ‘but’ of some kind, even if just a ‘how sad’.

He isn't the first poster to react like this.
I got very annoyed when a now departed poster said they had never heard of Reginald Hill.
In fact thinking about it, it amuses me that they have this trait in common ;)
For Steve a crossword clue - Small thorny flowers.
-
On Beulah Height - one of the best crime novels ever.

Yes indeed. I believe we have expressed this shared admiration before. :)
