Title: Anthony Bourdain dead

And suspected suicide. I really enjoyed Kitchen Confidential, and the meal I had at his restaurant in New York was great

Sometimes when someone the the public eye dies I'm indifferent; sometimes though there's a jolt of genuine sadness. Anthony Bourdain was definitely in the latter (and much smaller) group - a great, great shame.

I was genuinely surprised by his death. I know he led a wild life back in the day but was under the impression he had given that all up in later life. Of course that might be in no way connected to his death. I enjoyed his shows.
