Well done to the SNP for overturning the largely English conventions of everybody should take it up the arse from the government and the only person who should be walked out on is Jeremy Corbyn.
-
Absolutely. Anyone who ignores the insane, anachronistic trash of the Westminster parliament has my vote. Saor Alba.

Damn. That was a new shirt.

Leaving aside's Vlad's shite stained shirt, I'm not sure what to make of the stushie at PMQs. It will play well with a number of SNP supporters and some non SNP supporters but many opposed will just see it as playacting. That it appears that the Speaker did not act in line with the parliamentary rules as regards the motion to hold the session in private will be offset against the confusion people will have of any reasonable point of the motion which was essentially meant as a disruption and to highlight some of the problems of having lobby votes e.g. that they take up an inordinate amount of time and in the case of the debate yesterday meant that actual debate was severely reduced
-
Of course it was play acting.
However, since the wedding cake hidebound anachronistic trash of the Westminster parliament is worth ridiculing by anyone with a puckle o sense, it was well worth the performance.

Well at least they appear to be some form of opposition to the government.

Yes and it could only have come from the Scottish contingent
Since down here we expect opposition to be apologetic about itself and remain circumscribed and any politician who is in danger of not being apologetic about themselves or there party should be shunned.
The government's roll is to a)be Conservative and b) barrel fuck the electorate....
.....It has been thus for centuries.

Yes, Labour should be hammering the Tories over Brexit, but they are being ordered to abstain on various motions. What a shambles. Corbyn is acting as May's bag carrier. Onwards, comrades, towards a hard Brexit. WTF.

The devolution clause was one that Labour in Scotland voted against with the SNP but Labour in Wales effectively voted for. I think Corbyn is regarding Labour in the two countries as devolved, despite them not being, and then taking a principled decision on that basic misunderstanding of fact, that Labour shouldn't take a position on that. But feck me that's a weird reading for people to get

BBC grandee David Dimbleby says that the SNP were kicked out of parliament.
Tory MP John Mann thinks it was a stunt.
