Breasts disturb society again

The BBC have announced 'gender neutral' questions to combat this.
No, I don't know either.

I think that's the whole 'We need to do something, this is something, let's do this'

Yeah. 'Not asking questions that appear to be aimed at men' could include questions on football, the trains of Sir Nigel Gresley or the internal combustion engine.

Because that is really treating women as equals, isn't it? Still, I won't worry my pretty head about it.

Blaming the producers of University Challenge for the actions of some idiots on Twitter does seem to be a bit unfair.
The show is inherently biased anyway-towards Oxbridge. One could equally argue that female contestants from Oxbridge have a far greater chance of appearing on the show than have male contestants from anywhere else.If the Beeb really want to address this issue they should bring back the schoolkids programme Top of the Form, and show us how inclusive and non biased they can be with what would effectively be a brand new show.

Who is blaming the producers? my comment was about how we as a society have weird attitudes to women's breasts.
But yes, there should only be 1 Oxford and 1 Cambridge team

If Simona Halep ( a Romanian tennis player and a good role model for girls ,who is attractive and athletic) had pulled off her top, then the Scum, and probably the Wail, would have run a piece with close up pics (and to be fair, so would some Romanian media).
But if a male player had wanted privacy to change his shirt, can you imagine the furore? (ooh he is so precious).
I half agree with you.

Given the size of those two universities and their propensity for taking the best students, the competition would almost always be won by one of those two teams.

Given the size of those two universities...
I thought you were going for a euphemism there... but you didn't follow through Jeremy.
Dissapointing

Agree. It'd be like the boat race, only not.
