Can Labour afford to be led into another election as the "guilty"party again.
In 2015 Miliband led a we are humbly sorry for ruining the country's economy Labour and Tom Watson looks like leading the powerless to do anything to deal with the intrinsic antisemitism at the heart of socialism party.

MP Chris Williamson has been suspended from the Labour Party following remarks about the party's handling of anti-Semitism. Jolly good.

Seeing as you have decided to attack someone for something he isn't then I will ask you why the heck you arent calling for the suspension of the prime minister for the very REAL damage she has done to people with her "hostile environment" and her handling of Windrush.
You have royally pisseď me off with your craven prejudice.
For others reading I am aware this is a case of "whataboutery", if you think I am bothered you are mistaken.

Yea - just laugh it off. Black lives matter, just not as much as others.

Now you are really annoying me, one of our adopted sons is black and I have black third cousins who were born in Ghana. Not everything May has done is right, but she is working her socks off where Brexit is concerned, which is more than can be said for that man Corbyn.

Is she? But what about her hostile environment and Windrush. Shouldn't she at least be suspended? Or is it one rle for Labour and another for Tory. Hypocrite.

But given the hostile environment created by May's racist policies ad regards Windrush, you are being hypocritical in supporting her, and supporting those racist policies.
-
... And as for "working her socks off", she has fucked up BIG TIME. She is now running around desperately trying to get out of the the big hole she has dug for herself. She was an incompetent Home Secretary, she is an incompetent Prime Minister.

I am not supporting May where Windrush is concerned, that was very wrong indeed. I think Brexit is a total disaster and many of the leavers don't really appear to know for what they were voting. However, May is trying to bring about some sort of Brexit deal as that is what people voted for, whereas that limp lettuce Corbyn is not doing anything worthwhile.

The problem there is that people didn't vote for any particular approach to Brexit: they just voted for the idea of Brexit, and the approach May has taken, given her 'red lines', is designed to appease the lunatic fringe of her own party - and she hasn't even done that very well. As Corbyn has pointed out other approaches were available, which seems to me to be a worthwhile point.
In addition to being a racist and a liar, May is also an serial incompetent

If May is incompetent, what is Corbyn then?

I'm not sure what Watson is up to, saying Berger leaving is the worst day in Labour's history. Eh? I can think of worse, the invasion of Iraq, or McDonald's shenanigans. Is he trying to turf Corbyn out? Labour are a dead duck with people like him at the top. They are finished now.

Well it may have escaped your notice but for a very large part of the 2 years spent negotiating Mrs May did not ask for help from any other party, except for those giants of the political world, the DUP. So Corbyn wasn't actually in a position to do anything. Of course, May was responsible for making David Davis the secretary for Brexit. The man who said a deal with the EU would be the easiest deal ever. Yes right. So her judgement is clearly crap.
Anyway that is all irrelevant to the main point why are you judging May differently to Williamson. She caused actual harm to real people. Williamson expressed a pov that to me seemed misguided, but not actually that unreasonable. So why do you support his suspension at let May off?
-
In any case, to say that May wants to give people what they voted for is Horlicks. She imposed her red lines, and then lied that this is the people's will. Corbyn's own plan for Brexit looks better to me, but she is in hock to the ultra right wing, and her own racism. She didn't even want Parliament involved.

But if you think Williamson should be suspended from his party because of what he said then to be consistent you would want May to have been suspended for pursuing racist policies. Indeed her actions are obviously worse than his given the effects but you seem to want to hypocritically apply double standards,
-
May has apologised for the Windrush debacle and the people affected by it will get compensation.

Williamson has apologised.

May hasn't apologised that it was her racist actions that caused it.
-
May doesn't need to apologize as the media will turn a blind eye to her racism, while excoriating Labour for its own. I wonder if the media are biased?
-
On the subject of May 'working hard', there is a phrase that springs to mind 'must not confuse effort with achievement' that applies.
-

Windrush was policy? I thought it was an almighty screw up.
-
What is this thread supposed to be about, by the way? The title says Tom Watson but we seem to be discussing Theresa May
-
Windrush was policy? I thought it was an almighty screw up.
If it was just a screw up, it happened because May thought racism as a strategy was good. So it can be both. You set a racist strategy, your screw ups will be racist.
