I noticed it was being shown last night on one of those bottom of the list channels while I was looking for my fave program 'Taggart' . I really enjoy that , especially the theme tune 'These mean streets ' with Maggy Bell blasting it out . Marvellous!

I always enjoyed Rumpole, so will make a point of re-visiting it. Leo McKern was an early supporter of UKIP, so one wonders what he'd have made of the current political shambles.

Walter - Mrs G refers to Taggart as 'spot the location'.

That's because it is actually filmed in London!
