Likely LibDem gain?
If so could have very significant political consequences as the government's majority (including DUP) is currently wafer thin.

I gather the conservatives are considering allowing Chris Davies, the convicted ex-MP and subject of the recall petition to stand for them at the bye-election.
Brave move if true - or perhaps one last attempt by May to knobble her successor who may well be 'crowned' PM just days before this election so would see election defeat at their first achievement.

If I submitted false expense claims, I would be fired. In fact, I'm pretty sure it counts as fraud, at least technically.
I really don't understand why it is so hard for the Houses of Parliament to apply the same standards the rest of have to adhere too.

And if assaulted someone I would be fired but you don't seem to think that applies to all.

Suspended. not, so far, fired anyway.
But it seems these days that just asking a simple question in a debate can lead to mining of social media to find a reason to suspend or fire you.

Recall petitions - another stupid innovation by bloody Cameron. They leave MPs open to the vindictiveness of some of their constituents, and there are bound to be a fair number who dislike them. (Not that I have any time for any Tory MP.)
-
It's not as if the recall can be done by a small number and given what the recall that have been successful are for, seems an entirely reasonable piece of democracy. Oh and it was a Lib Dem idea rather than one of Cameron's
-
Have to say it's a brave/foolish take for the Tories to keep the recalled candidate. Not entirely comfortable with both PC and Greens stating they won't run a candidate in part to have an anti Brexit candidate in the Lib Dems.

Oh dear,
It must have something to do with my opinions and perception of the current government and its actions, but I misread the thread title as
Tory MP faeces recall.
