They expressed "hurt and anger" at the ruling and said Jeremy Corbyn must withdraw the party whip.


Can't make head or tail of this - either Labour have an independent process for dealing with such issues or they don't. If Corbyn can be pressured into withdrawing the whip after the NEC have re-admitted Williamson - then that is certainly not following an independent process.

It's the ongoing battle between the PLP and the membership. Nothing here is truly independent.
