As a Scottish Tory MP he's one of an endangered species: good.

Maybe we should revive an old custom - sort of.
Have the Tory Branch office, with not-the-leader Carlaw in the middle, stand at the base of Castle Rock and we can shout "Gardyloo" whilst chucking the appropriate traditional accompaniment at them.
Last one to miss has to join them.

Why is this even a thing? It's a Scottish castle in Scotland that's been run by Scottish organisations since, well, at least since 1991.

Because there's a class of people - and in my experience there's a higher proportion of them amongst Tories and Tory supporters - for whom everything is a resource to be exploited and they are the people entitled to do the exploiting. To them, Scotland is one of those things that's 'owned' (and, to them, that's no different to, say, Essex, but obviously to the Scots it is) and should be their's to exploit.

And I see his delieberate (sic) mistake in the name of the SNP, and in equating the Scottish govt to simply being the SNP.
