The stuff of which horror movies are made. Charming not! I don't want one as a pet......it will probably escape from the zoo and find its way into houses through cracks in the window frames, coming up in toilets from the sewers. The chief of police will then announce on a loud hailer 'there is no cause for alarm' as it slithers down the inside of his collar.

It really does have that air. The lab assistant saying 'Don't worry, it's harmless. Anyway has anyone seen Rover?'

this slime mould was tested in an experiment to see if it could replicate the mapping of Japans complicated railway system . It came pretty close . Scientists are now using it to find pathways for other types of movement , for example crowds in a city getting from A to B by shortest routes

Idon't know Kevin or the lions but have seen miniature elephants, each not much bigger than a bluebottle. They are not native to this country but a lady brought some in from America in her handbag. She put them on the window sill as there were little puddles from a rain shower, they were thirsty and they ate blades of grass and leaves. Then she brought them back in again. I hope they're alright.
