Labour said it takes complaints about Islamophobia "extremely seriously".
Whenever I see a statement beginning "We take... extremely seriously", I know I'm being stonewalled.

If the summaries of his remarks in the story are correct, he will not be in any trouble because they were just the truth. People don’t get hysterical about such things, do they?

Imo, Phillips often talks bollocks but he is not an Islamophobe, Neither is Labour institutionally anti-semitic.

Need to look at behaviour and actions not keep re-interpreting peoples words and inferring underlying views and attitudes.
