Title: Disney doesn't understand social media
Post by: jeremyp on April 28, 2020, 02:53:33 PM
Everybody knows that the Fourth of May is Star Wars Day* (i.e. May the Fourth be with you). Well Disney has dropped a  bollock by trying to claim that anybody using the popular hashtag #MayThe4th (https://twitter.com/hashtag/MayThe4th) which they didn't invent  is signing up to their terms and conditions.

The response (https://twitter.com/disneyplus/status/1254772307941191686) has been predictable.

* Except Little Roses who has no interest in the Star Wars Franchise.

I am interested in May 4th, it is our granddaughter's 12th birthday.
