Cancer is a bastard

I didn't see the Black Panther as I am not a superhero film type person generally, so I thought I hadn't seen this actor, but then realised when watching the news reports about him that I had in fact seen him in the James Brown biopic "Get on up", which although as a film was quite variable in tone, his performance was good.
Sad, and as you say cancer is a bastard. He sounds to have been quite a dignified man from all accounts.

Loved Chadwick Boseman in 42 - a film about Jackie Robinson - and in the Avengers movies and as James Brown. I was looking forward to the Black Panther sequel. Felt down most of the day when I heard he had died so young. He would have been 39 when he was diagnosed and he kept it quiet and managed to bulk up and train in martial arts and do all the fight scenes in the MCU films and in between he was having chemo and surgery - the strength that would have taken is really inspiring.
