Good for him and let's hope there is a consistent effort made. I wonder whether other important points need to be considered too, such as washing, preparation and cooking of vegetables, as quality not just quantity should be a long-term aim.

I applaud him not only for doing some good but also for showing that not every Premier League footballer conforms to the stereotype.

On the other hand, as most of the recent incumbents have shown, running the country is a lot harder than running a single issue campaign.
