With great reluctance I am leaving this forum for good. I feel very much the outsider these days, my views appear to be at odds with those of most other posters, not that I apologise for that of course. On top of that I am having some issues with my computer, which appear to stem from this forum, the only on-line site I visit, which has NOT SECURE at the top of the page.
My life is stressful enough as it is these days with my husband's health problems, which increase as he gets older.
I would like the Admin to remove my membership, and not to contact me by e-mail.
I wish you all well.
Littleroses.

You may irritate the heck out of me, but it'll be a duller place without you. 'Bye. Take care.

I would echo Steve's comment that this will be duller place without you but have to point out that the Not Secure message has been covered before, see link below, and that it is not going to be the reasons for your PC problems - so suggest you get it checked out.

I'm so sorry! I'm not a regular poster but I always look for you. You will be missed.
Think of it this way: R&E is a diversion from the stress of your real time life.
Could you not just post less but not leave completely?
Good luck anyway.

Just be like Vlad.....leave, indefinitely then come back to join in again after a while?

Fortunately, Littleroses cannot be like Vlad …… I mean, well, no-one could, thank goodness! And if Vlad thinks that's a compliment, he's on the wrong track!
I think the only reason to actually withdraw membership is when it would really and truly make you happier and more content to do so.

I didn't mean 'be like Vlad' in every way!
Only in the leaving then returning aspect!!
Besides, it's not as if LR hasn't done this in the past, is it?

Please do NOT leave. The membership of this Forum is a shadow of its former self and the loss of ANY contributor is the infliction of serious loss!
I've tried it, mainly for one reason only, and having it forced upon me by the complete loss of my computer/internet access.
As I have been advised by a far wiser head than my own, stay as a member and just look in now and again when you get bored - you don't have to logon, but you just might find something to comment on which will at least tell us that remain that you are still in the land of the living!
Bright Blessings, Love and Light and may the Old Ones watch over you and yours always!
)O(
P S - Having looked through the new posts on the Forum I think I can see at least part of your reason for wishing to leave!
-
I’d say feel free to leave but don’t burn your bridges.
I frequently take short leaves of absence but I never bother to announce them and I always come back.

Well, I shall miss you. Whether as Floo or LittleRoses you have been an important part of this forum - and its BBC predecessor - for many years.
I don't always agree with you. I think that sometimes you are over-simplistic. I think sometimes that you are irrational. I think sometimes that you are plain wrong. But that doesn't mean that I don't welcome your contributions ... and I always read them.
I also think that you attract more than your fair share of - sometimes - unpleasant putdowns. But these say more about the people making them than they do about you. My guess is that you may have been upset by a response to one of your recent Names from A - Z responses.
Take a rest by all means ... but if you can see your way to returning, some of us will be pleased.

You'll be leaving quiet a hole in this forum L R, however it's your decision and I hope life treats you well and I wish you and all of yours well too.
Kindest regards to you L R, ippy.
