I watched Abigail's Party last week, I had completely forgotten the ending. Alison Steadman was magnificent.

Used to watch the Wednesday Play then Play For Today in the late 60s / early 70s, so was interested in watching Abigail's Party, however gave up halfway through as the characters were so banal, tedious and stupid!
