Title: Air traffic control radar inventor

I missed the name of the man who invented the system to control air traffic in the air to avoid collisions on the Radio 4 programme last night. I've tried looking up various questions but no luck. Could someone please tell me the name so I can look him up on wikipedia?
Pleas ignore this - I realised what to put into search and found Richard Trim
