I never watched this when it was on but have caught it with it via Covid lockdown. Really well done.
-
I liked that as well. Started showing it on tv over here a couple of years ago. Well worth a watch if you like detective series'. One thing UK tv is very good at.
-
Hadn't realised until started watching that it was created and a lot of it written by Peter Flannery who wrote Our Friends In The North, one of the great TV series.
-
We didn't enjoy it at all.

Vaguely remember that but can't remember what I thought of it. Mighg have to watch it when I get some time.

I can't remember it was so long ago that we watched it.

Odd. I usually remember why I don't like a programme.
For example I think I am one of the few English persons alive who doesn't like "Only Fools & Horses", and I can tell you why.
David Jason - don't think he's funny, don't like him, can't watch him. Absolutely no reason for my dislike, so it is totally irrational.
(I expect to be harangued by OFAH fans momentarily :D )

I didn't like, 'Only fool and horses' either, but have liked other things in which David Jason featured, like 'A Touch of Frost', for instance.

My favourite David Jason programme is Danger Mouse

I liked a Frost too. As far as detective series' go, my favourite was Morse.

I like Foyle's War as well. And as a Glaswegian, Taggart

Really :-).
I've seen a few episodes in recent times and enjoyed very much (so has my husband when he has joined me in watching but his opinion isn't relevant here).

Something else with Martin Shaw which has been repeated which I like is Judge John Deed, think I've seen all of them now.
Kavanagh QC is quite good & I love 'Silk'.
